About Me

I'm a product executive with over 25 years of experience building and scaling platforms at the intersection of technology, data, and business strategy. I've led product at companies ranging from Fortune 500 enterprises to early-stage startups — across payments, identity, geospatial intelligence, workforce management, fleet telematics, live events, and AI.

My career has been defined by high-ambiguity, high-stakes product challenges. At Visa, I conceived and shipped the company's first production GenAI workflow — a dispute authoring system that cut merchant work time by 50% and contributed to 43% year-over-year revenue growth for the Post-Purchase division. I also built the 5-year strategic roadmap to expand TAM by 95% and increase profitability by 150%, and led a multi-year platform migration coordinating 50+ people across three countries.

Before Visa, at LightBox, I decomposed a monolithic GIS mapping system into reusable API-first services and rebuilt the data supply chain across 60+ vendors and 1,000+ government sources — reducing annual costs by over $300K and supporting $60M+ in platform revenue. At CoreLogic, I defined CLIP — a persistent property identifier — that increased property match rates from 76% to 95% using ML-driven entity resolution, processing 1,200 requests per second.

Earlier in my career at Deloitte Consulting, I led 10+ digital transformations for American Express (600-person Waterfall-to-Agile shift), Activision, JPMorgan Chase, Toyota Financial Services, Intel Security, US Cellular, Sysco, and more.

Beyond the Work

Life outside of product is centered around family — my wife, daughter, and our two Labrador retrievers. We're passionate travelers who believe the best way to understand a culture is through its food: wherever we go, we seek out local restaurants and markets, then bring those discoveries back into our own kitchen. Cooking at home is a genuine hobby, not a chore. On weekends you'll find us on trails — hiking and mountain biking are how we explore and decompress.

Travel also feeds another passion: photography. I've always had a camera in hand, drawn especially to architecture and nature — the geometry of a city skyline, the light on a mountain trail, the details most people walk past. Some of my favorite frames come from places we've wandered into without a plan.

The tech enthusiast side has been running since before it was fashionable. I've been on Linux at home since 1999 — what started as a love of shell scripting and automation grew into a habit of building systems that run themselves. That same instinct is now wired into a 200+ device smart home where most of what happens, happens automatically. I'm also deep into 3D printing, including designing my own parts in CAD. Automation, tinkering, and making things work better than they did yesterday — that's the through line, whether I'm at a keyboard or in a workshop.
